SILA getting closer and closer

Today is the last day of our Bahamas dance program. The dancers loved Duece, the prince of krump. They have worked with him for the last couple of days and had an amazing time. Can't wait for you all to work with him.

Today the dancers are taking Junkanoo which is a cultural Bahamian dance as well as will do African. At the end of the day, we will end with a showcase for the parents where the dancers perform all the choreography learned this week.

Duece is off to L.A. today and can't wait to meet and work with you all.

Greetings from the Bahamas!

Our Fun, Sun and Dance Experience is even better than expected. We have dancers from British Columbia and Alberta dancing their hearts out!

Our dance workshops are going great. Robert Schultz has been working with our dancers in many different styles of dance. The Summer in LA dancers will have the chance to meet and work with Rob in a few weeks.

Rob leaves tomorrow and Deuce, the prince of krump gets here today from L.A. He will be doing Hip Hop and Krumpography. The SILA dancers will also have the chance to work with him soon.

When Paula and I arrived at the Nassau airport, beside us getting her luggages was the O.C's Rachel Bilson. Also on our flight was Hayden Christensen so it was quite exciting like if we were in L.A.

It really is Paradise Island here so the name is perfect for it and Atlantis is lots of fun.

We look forward to Summer in L.A. Can't wait.

The countdown is on...

3 weeks today and 4 weeks today, the Summer in LA Dance Intensive dancers & the Summer in L.A. Hip Hop Intensive dancers will have already:

- visited and danced at 3 of L.A's top dance studios and worked with at least 10 different choreographers and instructors.

- met Be Discovered industry professionals and other top decision makers

- stayed at the Universal Studios Hilton hotel

- seen some of what Hollywood has to offer

- have been photographed by Lee Cherry and met the Pussy Cat Dolls founding ex member Carmit Bachar and other guests at the photo shoot

- be getting excited and ready for their So You Think You Can Dance taping which would be exactly 3 and 4 weeks today. I wonder who the special guest artist will be? Have any ideas? Who do you want to see perform?

When you watch the show tonight, imagine yourself in the front row and on the podiums. Do you want to be recognizable on screen? Do you want your friends and family to be able to see you on the show?

Be sure to tell them to tune in on Thursday July 24 if you are part of the Dance Intensive and on Thursday July 31 if you are part of the Hip Hop Intensive. Be sure that someone tapes this for you.
