wow, what a week.
Ed McMahon died this week. I grew up watching this man on Star Search. I was inspired to dance and get into the business by this show as well as by Fame and Debbie Allen.
Farah died yesterday. I also grew up watching her on Charlie's Angels and looking at her famous poster of her in a red bathing suit that my brothers had in our basement.
Then the shocker of all, Michael has a heart attack and died. I loved MJ growing up. I was maybe in grade 7 and worshipped the guy. I learnt to do the moon walk and do some of his moves. I never did get to see him live.
In 2001, Matt Carroll, a dancer who I scouted and booked on an Aaron Carter music video, was selected from that video to tour with Aaron. He was able to perform at the Michael tribute in NYC in 2001.
The legends live on and so do we so we should take advantage of life and dancing, loving and also being inspirational to the world around us.
